The Hinatuan Nickel Project is located in the island of Hinatuan, Surigao del Norte. This nickel mine is operated by the Hinatuan Nickel Mining Corporation with FSBMTC (FSBorja Mining and Trading Corp.) as the General Mining Contractor. DELTA was sub-constructed by FSBMTC to produce at least 250, 000 MTs of saprolitic nickel ore per month. Scope of works includes, a) mining saprolite and, b) delivery of saprolite either to the crusher, beaching area or directly to barge. The over-all work encompasses related works such as stockpile maintenance, beaching area maintenance and, access road maintenance. Operations in this project started April 2007.
