Project Description
Didipio Gold –Copper Mining Project is operate by Oceana Gold Philippines Inc. (OGPI), a significant gold producer in the Asia Pacific region. Didipio project is located in the north of Luzon Island approximately 270 kilometers NNE of Manila. The Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) between the Republic of the Philippines and OGPI originally covers 370 square kilometers which was later reduced to only 158 square kilometers after several years of exploration relinquishment. The open pit mine is expected to produce 200,000 ounces of gold and 70,000 tonnes of
copper concentrate per year.
DELTA is bound to adhere to occupational safety and health standards as enforced by OGPI and to environmental obligations as Mining Contractor.
